Once the farmer had the reports of a possible crop circle on his land, he mowed the crop down in the centre of this formation criss-crossing through the central pattern.
At the time it was first reported, this large central circle with what we think was some very intricate patterens within, was the complete design.
The 'tail' appeared the following night after the farmer had destroyed the initial design and the 'arms' were then reported the day after.
The tail has a hook at the bottom, similar to the 'sun-rays' of the formation of Rutland Farm near Avebury and the tail itself could be likened to one of the 'tenticles' of the 'Jellyfish' at Wayland's Smithy.
With the arms of decreasing circles the formation as a whole is like a Stingray.
