After visiting the most recent formations to appear prior to this one, the team were traveling back towards Alton Barnes and noticed this formation in South Field.

 

By this time it was about 8pm on 13 June and as you can see from the last 2 groundshots (shown in the far left hand column on this page) the sun was going down behind the hills which gave a lovely atmoshpere in which to visit this formation.

 

Once again, the design shows signs of wings and is obvisouly based on '4'.

 

If you study the last 2 groundshots opposite (those mentioned above - you can click to enlarge), you will notice a green and red object in the foreground picked up by the camera while we were photographing the crop.  In the office, we have enlarged this section on the image and it shows a dumb-bell shaped object which is vivid green turning red towards the end.  The egdes are quite transparent.
