"A wonderful Weekend" - Yvonne Thayer, WCCSG Member
"Absolutely Stonking!" - Rosemary Hanson, Surrey
This year's Circles of Knowledge Conference took place on 14 & 15th August. Once again we welcomed crop circle and ancient knowledge enthusiasts from all over the world and brought them together in the beautiful surroundings of Marlborough College in Wiltshire.
We were blessed on Friday 13th with a new crop circle not far from the venue, unfortunately the weather was not being so kind to us! Friday's tours to Avebury and West Kennett Longbarrow however dodged the showers and the scheduled helicopter flights were able to sweep people over the landscape as planned, and much to passengers delight, many of the circles had not yet been harvested as we had feared.
Saturday brought more rain, but once again, we seemed lucky that the heaviest of the showers were during lectures, while the refreshment times offered dry breaks from both the presentations and the rain. The outdoor seating area was utilised (though we were glad to have the marquees) and John Dalton treated the conference goers with his fantastic harp music while they enjoyed their rest time. Speakers included Lucy Wyatt, Jay Goldner,Bradfield, Glenn and Cameron Broughton, a film in tribute to the late Dr Gordon Strachan and a presentation of Dragon Essences.

Further musical appreciation came later on Saturday Evening with a live piano concert given by Canadian composer, Bradfield. The audience was thrilled with his performance of pieces from his crop circle inspired albums Sacred Signs I & II with a stunning backdrop of images and video of the Wiltshire landscape. This and all other lectures were filmed by Sean Eisentien and produced by Hugh Newman (Megalithomania) for immediate sale - these DVDs will also appear shortly in our shop.

Sunday brought beautiful sunshine and more lectures from Maria Wheatley, Francine Blake, Graham Hancock, Peter Knight and Bert Janssen, plus a much appreciated film of the 2010 crop formations from the Crop Circle Connector. The sun continued to shine as delegates enjoyed their lunch and refreshments in the shadow of the Merlin Mound (the legandary burial place of Merlin) in the college grounds and the day was brought to a close with a ceremony bringing our visitors from across the globe together.

Once again, we said goodbye to old and new friends and vowed to see them in 12 months time!

Plans for the 2011 conference are already underway with speakers including Anthony Thorley, Robert Bauval, Antoine Gigal and Patrice Marty on the Crystal Skulls. Plus Crop Circle talks to be confirmed.* Tickets will be on sale (likely to be in July 2011) from January 2011.
